Starting the scribblings

I am not sure what I am scribbling about this day of my new Blog Beginnings...sister Jat suggests I blog - does this mean I am too wordy, that I love to communicate too much, that I am an author waiting to be discovered....or rather that she thinks I will scribble on this format and find enjoyment on the internet? hmmmm?

OK Jat, here we go. I have NO IDEA how this works and how to proceed. NONE. Hopefully the free blogspot intructions will walk me through.

So, the 'big storm' predicted snow has come and almost gone on February 25, 2007 in Wilmington, Delaware. From downy, billowy clumps of snow falling promising us snowman - building weather, to dandruff like flecks being shaken outside my window.

I must call Jesse, my darling 3 year old grandson and tell him that his Grammy cannot possibly build a snowman in this amount of snow. He called promptly as the flakes began to fall, telling me it was snowing and I could come over and build a snowman with them....and I was the carrot nose person.
Church was cancelled! Thankfully I heard Charles Stanley preach before I took Andy back to college in NJ, then came home and listened to a powerful memorial service on the internet of my dear college friend Beth. But what about hugs from my friends and smiles of love and recognition and corporate worship with my church family of friends.
Well, I think I did it-I began. Whatever is the point? Perhaps those of us left alone by reasons unpredicted many years ago when we married our true love forever need a place to ponder daily life.
